Junior Data Scientist

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Partner with quantitative researchers to create, optimize, and enhance trading models, focusing on maximizing performance and precision.
2. Leverage your quantitative finance expertise to analyze intricate data sets, deriving insights that can shape and refine trading strategies.
3. Implement and sustain robust data analysis tools and algorithms using Python.
4. Perform extensive data mining to uncover new trading prospects and emerging trends in the FX and cryptocurrency markets.
5. Design and evaluate both linear and non-linear modeling approaches to enhance predictive accuracy and model effectiveness.
6. Generate comprehensive analytics reports and present findings to stakeholders and team members, aiding data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

1. In-depth knowledge of quantitative finance, with a particular emphasis on FX or crypto trading.
2. Proficient in the application of linear models within financial modeling contexts.
3. Strong background in data mining and managing large, complex datasets.
4. Capable of effective collaboration with quantitative researchers and team members.
5. Excellent analytical abilities and a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
7. This role will start as a remote position, with an eventual relocation to Dubai, UAE. Candidates must be open to relocating.

Preferred Credentials:

1. Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. Familiarity with additional programming languages or analytical tools is highly desirable.
