Frontend Vue.js Developer – Remote (UK)


Location: Fully remote within the UK

Type: Full-time, permanent


A fast-growing technology company is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Vue.js, React and TypeScript. You’ll join a collaborative frontend team working on new digital products and major platform upgrades, delivering scalable, high-performance web applications with exceptional user experiences.


What you’ll do

  • Architect, develop and optimise Vue.js applications using TypeScript
  • Build reusable, component-based UIs and manage state with Vuex, Pinia, Redux or similar
  • Create engaging, responsive designs with strong UX principles and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) in mind
  • Integrate REST APIs and work closely with backend teams to ensure efficient data flow
  • Drive testing and quality assurance using Jest, Vue Test Utils, Cypress and automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to design systems and maintain consistent UI patterns
  • Mentor other developers and support Agile best practices


What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Expert knowledge of Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), React and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with state management (Vuex, Pinia, Redux or Zustand)
  • Solid understanding of REST API integration and asynchronous data handling
  • Proven experience implementing accessibility (a11y) standards and mobile-first design
  • Skilled in CSS pre-processors (SASS/SCSS) or Tailwind CSS
  • Proficiency with Vue Router and Vue Composition API
  • Strong testing experience (unit, component and end-to-end) and CI/CD workflows
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead or mentor within Agile teams


Nice to have

  • Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR)
  • Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture
