Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Client:

A dynamic and fast-growing startup company. As they scale, they are looking for a visionary and hands-on technology leader to join our executive team and drive our technical strategy.

Position Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for our complete technology strategy and execution. This role requires a leader who is both a strategic thinker and a strong hands-on contributor. You will lead our engineering team, architect scalable systems for high-concurrency consumer applications, and identify opportunities to leverage AI to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company's long-term technical vision, including an AI strategy to enhance our product and operations.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

• Architect robust, scalable systems capable of handling high-concurrency user traffic.

• Actively participate in the development lifecycle, including coding and code reviews.

• Drive the agile development process to ensure timely delivery of product features.

• Collaborate with the CEO and product team to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role

• Experience in a consumer-facing (ToC) internet company is essential.

• Prior experience in a startup environment is a significant plus.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and scale engineering teams in a fast-paced setting.

• Expertise in designing and building systems for high-concurrency applications.

• Understanding of how to practically implement AI and machine learning into a business to create value.

• Strong hands-on coding and system design capabilities.

• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to report directly to the CEO.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
