We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operation Engineer with strong technical expertise across infrastructure domains, best practices, and emerging technologies. You will play a key role in delivering enterprise-level infrastructure services and driving new initiatives to support innovative and resilient public sector IT operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end infrastructure services—including network, servers, backups, and desktop support—to Public Service agencies and selected non-government entities.
  • Manage data centre and server room operations, ensuring continuous service availability and infrastructure reliability.
  • Drive implementation of new initiatives and enhancements, leveraging modern network and server technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and outsourced service providers to plan, manage, and execute infrastructure projects that improve service delivery and user experience.
  • Partner with infrastructure capability centres to design scalable and future-proof solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, coordinating incident resolution and change management with service providers.
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle: prepare budgets, define specifications, manage vendor selection, and verify invoices.
  • Forecast budgets and monitor expenditure against planned utilization.
  • Act as the Infrastructure team’s Point-of-Contact for new projects and initiatives.
  • Support infrastructure services for application systems in coordination with Applications Consultants, users, and vendors.
  • Participate in architecture review and governance processes to ensure operational sustainability and resilience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of IT or CIO.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
  • Solid technical knowledge of server and network infrastructure, with complementary experience in infrastructure security and operations.
  • Proven track record in infrastructure management, including data centre operations, vendor coordination, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with Singapore government IT infrastructure and processes is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Government sector is highly desirable for the role.
  • Proactive, meticulous, and resourceful professional with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
