Goal of Position

The incumbent is responsible to support Schaeffler Asia Pacific Research & Development (R&D) initiatives under the Schaeffler Hub for Advanced Research (SHARE) program at NTU by driving marketing efforts and ensuring effective project management from initiation to completion and contribute innovative ideas and create impactful customer experiences to meet evolving business and market needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects across all phases—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure - ensuring timely delivery, quality, and proper documentation.
• Develop project charters, management plans, and oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, research institutes, and government bodies to drive innovation and secure new project opportunities.
• Support open innovation initiatives by engaging with startups and innovation networks to enhance Schaeffler’s R&D portfolio.
• Lead user experience strategy for innovation projects, including design research, user journey mapping, and technology roadmap development.
• Facilitate discussions with NTU and other stakeholders on research and innovation projects, contributing to strategic ideation and proposal development.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Possesses at least Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Design, Business, or related field with specialization in Project Management, Product Design, or User Experience (UX).
• Minimum 2 to 3years' experience managing large-scale, complex R&D projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interest in research areas such as Robotics, Mobile Robots, and IoT applications.
• Solid knowledge of project management principles and full project life cycle
• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel; experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and risk management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
