Qualifications
- Proven experience building production-grade web applications at scale
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern web technologies
- Solid understanding of native JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals
- Experience designing reusable and efficient front-end systems
- Ability to plan, deploy, and maintain front-end infrastructure for testing and deployment
- Experience working closely with design and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional interfaces
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing project scopes
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to share technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Partner with design, marketing, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate OpenAI’s mission and products
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end systems for high-traffic web applications
- Implement new features and optimize user interfaces for accessibility, performance, and usability
- Plan and deploy front-end infrastructure to support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across all web touchpoints
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and best practices to continuously improve our web presence
- Identify and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices and browsers
- Share knowledge and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
