Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Junior DevOps/Release Engineer to join their team. As a Junior DevOps/Release Engineer, you will be part of the DevOps team supporting various application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Manage and execute 25-40 weekly deployments to deploy software to the AWS cloud environment.
- Write scripts for automating AWS resource management using Python and boto3.
- Utilize Jenkins Console output to troubleshoot and improve Jenkins builds.
- Configure IAM Users, Roles, and Policies for fine-grained access to AWS resources.
- Design AWS Cloud Formation templates to automate deployment of web applications and databases.
- AWS cloud experience with a strong background in Linux/Unix environments.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT Lab.
- Solid experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or Ruby.
- Basic experience with database technologies and SQL queries.
- Good troubleshooting and debugging mindset to provide immediate workarounds and long-term fixes.
