Head of Technology & Innovation

We are seeking a forward-thinking Head of Technology & Innovation to lead the digital transformation and technology strategy of our platform. As the driving force behind our technology roadmap, you will ensure that our online ecosystem remains innovative, scalable, and user-centric.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging technology with business growth, leading engineering teams, driving innovation initiatives, and ensuring our platform is the most trusted and engaging lifestyle destination.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the company’s technology vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives that enhance the user experience and support growth.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of all digital platforms.

Innovation & Growth

• Identify and implement emerging technologies (AI, automation, personalization) to strengthen engagement.
• Drive innovation in monetization models, advertising, and premium services.
• Research and pilot new digital solutions that build competitive advantage.

Product & Platform Development

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of platform and product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused enhancements.
• Ensure seamless integration across web and mobile platforms.

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering and IT team.
• Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability.
• Manage partnerships with external vendors, tech providers, and digital agencies.

Operational Excellence

• Establish KPIs for technology performance, uptime, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles within digital platforms, online media, or e-commerce.
• Proven track record of leading digital transformation and delivering scalable online solutions.
• Strong background in software development, product lifecycle management, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
