Frontend Engineer — Remote (India)

A fast-growing player in the Enterprise SaaS & Web Application Development sector, building scalable, user-centric web products for B2B customers. We focus on high-performance frontends, strong UX, and measurable business impact across analytics, workflow automation, and customer-facing dashboards.

PROIU Technologies is hiring a Frontend Engineer to own UI development for mission-critical web apps in a fully remote India-based role. You will ship polished interfaces, collaborate with product and backend teams, and help raise frontend engineering standards across the company.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain responsive, accessible React-based user interfaces that deliver pixel-perfect UX across devices and browsers.
Translate product requirements and designs into high-quality, reusable components and UI libraries following component-driven development.
Integrate frontends with REST/GraphQL backends, optimizing API usage and handling optimistic updates, caching and error states.
Improve application performance via code-splitting, lazy loading, efficient rendering, and bundle-size reduction techniques.
Write unit and integration tests for UI components; maintain CI pipelines, linting, and automated checks to ensure delivery quality.
Collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers to define UI behaviour, accessibility standards and release plans.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

3+ years professional experience building production React applications with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
Solid HTML5/CSS3 expertise (Flexbox, Grid), responsive design and cross-browser compatibility practices.
Experience with state management (Redux/Context/Zustand), REST/GraphQL integration, and component-driven architecture.
Practical knowledge of testing (Jest, React Testing Library), Git workflows and CI/CD for frontend deployments.

Preferred

Experience with Next.js, Vite, or similar frameworks and server-side rendering or static site generation.
Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), performance profiling, and frontend observability/monitoring tools.
