About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data quality and CRM initiatives within a highly integrated IT environment. This role focuses on managing data accuracy, providing actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with CRM systems such as Oracle Service or Sales Cloud, and a solid background in SQL Server and Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and improve data quality across various systems and platforms
- Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and implement remediation strategies
- Work with large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and develop reports
- Design and execute SQL queries and stored procedures to support business needs
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions
- Integrate and manage data flows between Oracle CRM, SQL Server, and Azure environments
- Represent data clearly and effectively using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Office 365 tools
- Work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and data quality management
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle CRM platforms (e.g., Oracle Service or Sales Cloud)
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex query writing and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, or Synapse Analytics
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft 365 suite
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
- Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, or Oracle CRM tools
- Previous experience working in higher education, government, or other complex organisational settings
