About the Opportunity

Reporting to the BA Practice Team Leader, the Senior Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role within the Program Management Department & Salesforce Practice. This role focuses on significant mobile app initiatives delivered by Agile-Scrum based Squads & Projects, with impacts ranging from simple to highly complex across RACV.


You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders and bring exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. Experience in Agile methodology and mobile app is essential.

You will be instrumental in ensuring our Program Management & Salesforce Practice delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

- Lead scoping, planning, analysis, and documentation for mobile app deliverables.

- Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies, and risks.

- Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog grooming, options analysis, and benefits realisation.

- Produce high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with mobile UX principles.

- Conduct stakeholder analysis and facilitate workshops.

- Define current (as-is) and future (to-be) states for mobile app experiences.

- Collaborate with Squads to define success metrics and acceptance criteria for mobile app features.

- Lead refinement and story elaboration sessions, participate in Scrum ceremonies.

- Liaise with support teams to create user guides and training materials.

- Provide transition documentation and support knowledge transfer.

- Share insights and learnings with the BA Practice.



Mobile App capabilities you will bring to the role

- Mobile App Principles: Experience with platform-specific design guidelines (e.g., Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, Google’s Material Design) and applying these to user stories and acceptance criteria.

- Mobile Tools: Familiarity with Firebase, Testflight, Adobe Analytics, and Fullstory for tracking user behaviour and app performance.

- API & Integration Knowledge: Understanding of how mobile apps interact with back-end services and third-party APIs.

- Basic Understanding of Mobile Development: Awareness of feasibility, constraints, and opportunities of mobile platforms.

- Mobile App UX Design: Strong grasp of mobile UX principles to ensure high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.



Tools & platforms you will use

- Jira / Confluence: For backlog management and documentation.

- Figma: For reviewing and collaborating on UI designs.

- Postman / Swagger: For testing and understanding APIs.

- Other Tools: Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Appsflyer.



Who we are looking for and what you will bring

- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with end-to-end project delivery.

- 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst (desirable).

- Solid understanding of platform-specific guidelines (iOS/Android), mobile UX principles, app-backend integration, and tools like Firebase, Testflight, Adobe Analytics, and Fullstory

- Salesforce/Mulesoft experience or certification (desirable).

- Tertiary degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Office 365, Visio or draw.io.

- Experience in member-based or customer-facing organisations (preferred).

- Exposure to a range of initiatives in regulated, service-driven environments.
