Mission Context

As a Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in translating business needs into high-quality technical solutions. Within the Mobile Application team, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developers, Testers, and Architects to ensure that solutions are technically feasible, secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural vision and quality standards.

Your first major assignment will focus on a strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiative, where you will help design and deliver secure and user-friendly solutions in alignment with enterprise security policies.

Function Description

1. Technical Analysis & Solution Design

• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Architecture to ensure compliance with enterprise standards, cloud strategy, and mobile security requirements.
• Analyze and model APIs, data flows, and integrations for performance, scalability, and security — including migration from legacy SOAP webservices to REST APIs.

2. Domain Expertise

• Provide technical guidance in mobile application development (iOS/Android) and backend integrations via APIs.
• Advise on cloud-based solutions and infrastructure, ensuring security and performance.
• Embed mobile security best practices into solution design and delivery.
• Support IAM initiatives: authentication/authorization flows, identity lifecycle, privileged access management, and integration with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID).

3. Agile Delivery

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews).
• Prepare/refine features for smooth sprint execution.
• Deliver solutions incrementally in sprints, balancing elaboration and construction.
• Support developers/testers during build and test phases, ensuring coherence with specifications.

4. Collaboration & Cross-Role Support

• Act as a bridge between Business, Architecture, and Development teams.
• Partner with Business Analysts to refine requirements and ensure testability.
• Support QA in defining and validating acceptance criteria.
• Contribute beyond primary role when needed to achieve squad goals.

Requirements

Languages

• Dutch or French: At least one local language (mandatory).
• English: Sound knowledge required.

Experience

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in technical analysis or solution design.

Technical Experience (Mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of analysis methodologies and technical design patterns.
• Proven experience with API and integration design (REST, authentication, versioning, deprecation).
• Familiarity with IAM concepts/technologies: SSO, MFA, PAM, Active Directory, Entra ID, identity lifecycle management.

Technical Experience (Preferable)

• Mobile platforms (iOS/Android), cloud services, and mobile application security.
• Agile/Scrum team experience.

Business Experience

• Banking/financial services domain knowledge is a plus.
