Join us as a Workday Technical Product Owner to spearhead strategic planning, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement of our Workday platform. You'll align Workday with business goals, drive adoption, manage governance, and partner across HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to create measurable value across our FinTech ecosystem.
Your Focus
- Workday Delivery & Execution: Own the delivery and execution of Workday system changes, configurations, and enhancements across multiple modules (e.g., FINS, HCM, Adaptive Planning).
- Requirements Translation: Translates Finance, HR and business requirements into functional designs and configurations, working closely with the Workday SME and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Project Management: Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of system changes and related projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, training, deployment, and budget oversight.
- Hands-On Configuration: Directly configures Workday, including business processes, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, and reporting.
- Integration & Vendor Coordination: Partners with IT and vendors to manage integrations, data loads, security updates, and system performance.
- Release Management: Supports Workday release cycles, analysing new features, assessing impacts, leading testing, and driving the adoption of relevant functionality.
- System Support: Provides day-to-day support and troubleshooting, working closely with Finance and HR to resolve system issues promptly.
- Governance & Compliance: Maintains system documentation, data integrity controls, audit logs, and compliance standards, ensuring robust change management processes for all system updates.
- Data, Reporting & Analytics: Lead initiatives around Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics governance.
- Training, Support, and Continuous Improvement: Develop training materials and support structures to ensure user proficiency and smooth adoption.
- Significant hands-on Workday configuration experience across multiple modules, with a focus on building and configuring.
- Proven track record of delivering system changes and enhancements in Workday within a global or multi-country environment.
- Deep understanding of Finance and HR processes, data structures, security models, and system dependencies.
- Strong collaboration skills across HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering under tight timelines.
- Workday certifications or advanced configuration training strongly preferred.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Workday certifications (FINS, HCM, Reporting, etc.) or equivalent expertise.
- Experience managing integrations and support workflows.
