About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cisco Certified Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level network systems using Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Implement and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using industry-standard tools.
• Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions or resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure network integrity and security through best practices, including firewall management, access control, and VPN implementation.
• Maintain network documentation and prepare technical reports as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during network outages or upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or higher – required)
• Hands-on experience in server parts replacement.
• Proficiency with Cisco hardware and software (IOS, ASA, Nexus, Meraki, etc.).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
