This successful Irish manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution business based in west-central Dublin is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the full lifecycle of a range of internal product offerings. It’s a locally controlled Irish business with a long-standing, experienced management team. They are down-to-earth, commercially driven, and pragmatic.


The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying gaps in product offerings, particularly around asset management, catalogues, warranties, and services. They are looking for a confident Product Manager who will take ownership in creating applications that enhance the customer experience and drive market share growth.


Objectives of the Role

  • Lead the product and business planning processes for cross-functional teams
  • Analyse customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from a value-add perspective
  • Collaborate with the business to assess competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Develop and analyse product requirements
  • Implement and maintain development timelines across multiple products
  • Own the full product lifecycle, both internally and in collaboration with third-party vendors
  • Create product positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates the offering
  • Triage application issues with third parties and users, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions


You Must Have

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience or competency in software/web development (SQL / MySQL) to effectively manage vendor relationships for software configuration and development
  • 4 years’ experience in product development, design, or management, ideally with exposure to software application product management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working cross-functionally
  • Previous vendor management experience throughout the software development lifecycle and QA processes
  • A proven track record of success in managing all stages of the product development lifecycle and crafting effective product strategies
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across the business


Salary & Benefits

  • €85,000
  • 5% employer pension contribution

Location & Working Pattern

  • Based in Dublin 12
  • 4 days per week on-site - 1 day from home
