Role Overview
As a Data Engineer / DWH Lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the financial data warehouse layer. You will ensure data consistency and accuracy across multiple systems, lead technical decision-making in the data domain, and create actionable insights through well-designed visualizations and dashboards. The role involves close collaboration with product, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Role Overview
As a Data Engineer / DWH Lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the financial data warehouse layer. You will ensure data consistency and accuracy across multiple systems, lead technical decision-making in the data domain, and create actionable insights through well-designed visualizations and dashboards. The role involves close collaboration with product, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across multiple systems.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation.
- Build and maintain the financial data layer in the data warehouse.
- Develop and optimize data visualizations and dashboards in Grafana.
- Lead technical decision-making for scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL), including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Proficiency in Python for data ETL, automation, API integrations, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience with Grafana for data modeling, reporting, and dashboard optimization.
- Background in high-load backend or analytical projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical decisions.
- Experience working closely with product, analytics, and business teams.
- Previous fintech/finance experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of English and Russian.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance business needs with technical requirements.
