We are seeking a Senior/Expert UX/UI Designer to join the product team of a leading European digital employment platform that connects thousands of people with short-term work opportunities every day.
This role goes beyond craft. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end design work, from research and discovery to prototyping, testing, and delivery, and making sure outcomes are measurable and impactful. You’ll collaborate with Design Leads and the Design Director while owning significant product areas, ensuring that your work both elevates the user experience and drives business value.
The ideal candidate combines strategic design leadership with hands-on execution: someone who thrives in complexity, communicates ideas with clarity, and has a proven record of shipping meaningful, outcome-driven design work
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end design: Own product areas from discovery through delivery, ensuring designs are validated with users and drive measurable outcomes.
- Bring clarity through storytelling: Communicate design thinking, decisions, and impact clearly to stakeholders, making complex ideas easy to follow.
- Test and iterate rapidly: Embed usability testing and research at every stage to make evidence-based decisions at pace.
- Build for scale: Develop and evolve design systems, patterns, and flows that enable efficiency and consistency.
- Champion inclusivity: Ensure designs meet and exceed accessibility standards (WCAG) and resonate with diverse user groups.
- Influence and collaborate: Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to align design with strategic goals.
- Elevate the craft: Mentor peers, introduce new practices, and raise the overall standard of design across the team.
- Proven impact: a portfolio that showcases shipped, high-impact projects with clear outcomes and metrics.
- Strategic mindset: ability to connect design decisions to business and user goals.
- Strong UX foundation: expertise in research, usability testing, and evidence-based design.
- Excellent communication: able to tell a clear design story, simplify complexity, and build alignment.
- Thought leadership in craft: a track record of elevating design practices and inspiring teams.
- Systems thinking: experience building scalable design systems and complex user flows.
- Accessibility-first approach: in-depth knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design.

- Salary range: 3600 – 5900 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
