About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will lead our information security initiatives, developing and implementing strategies that protect our technological infrastructure and customer data.


What you will do:

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the Fintech industry.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses.
  • Proactively monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, mitigating risks swiftly and effectively.
  • Partner with ICT and Business teams to embed robust security practices into all financial services and products.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and innovations in the Fintech landscape.
  • Drive security awareness across the organization by educating staff on cybersecurity best practices and fostering a culture of security.


What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in information security, preferably within the Fintech industry.
  • Knowledge of security products such as SIEM, DLP, IPS/IDS, and ERP.
  • Passion for open-source–based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks relevant to Fintech (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on proactive risk management.
  • Ability to identify code weaknesses, particularly in Python, Perl, and Java. Hands-on coding experience is a plus, as it can enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly regarded.
