EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER Join our team and build the furure of space technology

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.

What you will be doing?

Definition and identification of technical and user requirements.
Preparation of software development specifications.
Analysis and design of on-board software and firmware.
Participation in validation campaigns for software and complete system (TLYF or E2E).

What Do We Need In Our Team

Hands-on experience with microcontroller design flows
Eagerness to learn
Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
Fluency in English
Knowledge of embedded software development tools: C/C++
Experience working with GIT repositories and Linux-based operating systems
Some experience with instrumentation equipment (e.g., power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope)

Valuable knowledge:

Development of custom embedded Linux systems using Buildroot/Yocto
Some experience with Python or other scripting languages
Experience in the design of on-board software for spacecraft or critical systems
Knowledge of software development within the FreeRTOS environment
Understanding of DSP algorithms

Candidate qualifications and skills

Work remotely 80 % of the time
