📌 Please note that this role is available on CIM or B2B (PFA/SRL), long term, and requires 2 dayson site: Bucharest & on call.

Responsibilities:

✅ Design, automate, and maintain infrastructure and application deployments in AWS.

✅ Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and security of our client-facing applications.

✅ Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to streamline delivery processes.

✅ Monitor performance and availability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.

✅ Troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and resolve issues in line with SLAs.

✅ Manage and secure Linux-based systems in production environments.

✅ Work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

✅ Use Ansible, Chef, Puppet for configuration management.

✅ Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/self-hosted).

✅ Collaborate closely with developers, QA, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure DevOps best practices.

✅ Create and maintain operational procedures, disaster recovery, and backup plans.

✅ Provide guidance to team members and actively contribute to knowledge sharing.

Tools / Software Knowledge & Competencies:

✅ 10+ years of DevOps experience, ideally with enterprise-scale applications.

✅ 5+ years of AWS expertise (VPC, IAM, KMS, Organizations, networking, security).

✅ Strong background in Linux system administration.

✅ Proven hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation.

✅ CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub.

✅ Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS.

✅ Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.

✅ Databases: AWS ElasticCache, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DAX.

✅ Familiar with REST/SOAP/JSON APIs.

✅ Backup & Disaster Recovery strategies.

✅ Knowledge of IT operations frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, DevOps).

✅ ITSM experience (e.g., ServiceNow).

Education & Certifications:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

✅ AWS certifications are a strong plus: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, Advanced Networking, Security.
