About The Role & The Team
As our Fullstack Engineer (with a frontend focus) in the Website team, you’ll be part of a talented and ambitious agile team. Together you’ll design and implement technical solutions for Svea Solar’s website and related areas, ensuring a seamless experience between our site and our smart energy platform Sunbeam.
You’ll work closely with another Teach lead, a frontend engineer, an analyst, and a product manager, reporting to our Engineering Manager Anna. We follow a collaboration-first approach, working three days a week from our Stockholm office.
Your key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain both frontend and backend features, with a strong focus on frontend.
- Develop modern, accessible, and semantically correct websites using HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code in TypeScript/JavaScript and React.js.
- Design and implement REST APIs and integrations with our CMS written in Python.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to create functional and user-friendly solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and best practices, supporting long-term scalability and event-driven design.
We’re Looking For You Who…
- Value team success over personal success and thrive in a collaborative dynamic environment.
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years in backend.
- Have strong experience with: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, REST APIs, CMS, and event-driven design.
- Have solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
- Are fluent in English and Swedish.
- Have experience with Next.js, i18next, Motion/React Spring, Tailwind, Styled-components.
- Are comfortable with Python, Django, Wagtail, or Deno.
