About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and results-oriented Data Scientist to join our team on an initial 12-month contract basis. This role will focus on leveraging data to support lead generation, sales strategy, pricing analytics, and automation through Python-based systems.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering—to translate data into actionable insights, optimize pricing models, and build scalable tools that support growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data models to identify high-value leads and optimize lead-generation funnels.
  • Analyze sales performance and conversion data to support targeting, segmentation, and sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain dynamic pricing models and conduct pricing sensitivity analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Create, automate, and optimize workflows and reports using Python, SQL, and relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data needs, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Work with large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, web analytics).
  • Design and maintain intuitive dashboards and reporting systems using Tableau, Power BI, or Python Dash/Plotly.
  • Support A/B testing, experiment design, and performance measurement for lead-gen and sales campaigns.
  • Build predictive or classification models where appropriate (e.g., lead scoring, churn prediction).
  • Collaborate with data engineers (or perform data engineering tasks) to ensure data pipeline reliability and scalability.
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst.
  • Strong Python programming skills, including key libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn, etc.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience in data analysis for lead generation, sales optimization, or pricing analytics.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative codebases.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience working with APIs or web scraping for lead or data acquisition is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
