Head of Machine Learning – Cyber Security | Dubai

We’re working with a leading Cyber Security firm in Dubai to hire a Head of Machine Learning. This role requires not just ML leadership, but deep cyber security expertise — the successful candidate must bring proven experience applying machine learning in the context of threat detection, intrusion prevention, or cyber defence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the ML strategy to address real-world security threats.
• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers and researchers.
• Work closely with cyber security specialists to design scalable ML models for anomaly detection, fraud prevention, and predictive security.
• Remain hands-on with modern ML tools, ensuring practical application in cyber defense.

Requirements

• Strong background in cyber security — ideally with direct exposure to malware analysis, SOC tools, or advanced threat detection.
• Proven leadership of ML/AI teams and delivery of production systems.
• Proficiency with Python, deep learning frameworks, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Ability to operate strategically while staying technically engaged.
