Project Administrator UAE
Cincinnati Children's Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (On-site)
This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and supports our international subsidiary, Cincinnati Children’s Global Healthcare Consultancy, a wholly owned entity of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. While the job is posted under the parent company, the role will operate within the UAE-based subsidiary, focused on expanding our global healthcare initiatives.
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: The Project Administrator role is responsible for supporting the execution of the strategy and roadmap for our UAE collaboration. Engage with external and internal partners, manage project scope as needed, and communicate with key stakeholders throughout the project. Identify resources needed, such as information, expertise, and requisite resources, in collaboration with working teams and leadership. Lead or support project teams and directly work with leadership to facilitate meetings as needed.
Strategize with program and organizational leadership to develop plans to advance objectives. Foster critical thinking on top issues and opportunities. Work in collaboration to establish goals and objectives and prioritize key objectives. Develop templates, frameworks, and processes to support the teams to achieve the goals and objectives
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Departmental Development and Planning
Develops strategy and tactics related to key issues and opportunities, coordinating with others. Lead and facilitate the
successful implementation of department/division/institutional projects and activities, which require researching issues, data/information collection, analysis and presentation. Manage a variety of special projects for the executive. Support ad- hoc requests and projects. Achieve initiatives as outlined in the Medical Center's and the Department's strategic plans.
Prepare reports of progress and summary reports. Assist with estimating project costs and preparing budgets. Provide recommendations and opinions, market information and financial analyses. Ensure clear scope and integration points with other PLT committees and stakeholders.
- Project Management Leadership
Engage clients and stakeholders, negotiate project scope as needed, and communicate with client throughout the project.
Identify resources needed, such as information, expertise, personnel, and instruments and problem-solve gaps. Lead project teams and direct work of others while assuming final responsibility for the result.
- Process/Quality Improvement
Identify, develop, and implement new methods, processes, and systems to improve and facilitate the team's work. Identify
ways to improve data quality and usability and to streamline and enhance reporting processes and/or deliverables. Identify and recommend procedures to enhance or maintain a high level of effectiveness in projects. Participate in improving organizational performance through recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data and providing input to department discussions.
- Communication & Relationship Management
Manage communication to and relationships with key project stakeholders. Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal
communications. Facilitate small group discussions. Keep team members appropriately informed. Serve in a leadership role within the department to promote collaborative work relationships within the Department and with colleagues across the medical center. Provide expert guidance and advice as needed. Liaise, when deemed appropriate with the direction of the assigned PLT leader, with interdepartmental, community and other critical relationships to promote CCHMC. Promote internal and external customer service guidelines and standards of excellence. Interactions/communications with Board Member and/or development of communications for Board Member Meetings.
- Strategic Planning

on top issues and opportunities. Work in collaboration to establish goals and objectives, prioritize key objectives and work with the team to meet the goals and objectives. Strategize and recommend infrastructure necessary to execute selected projects & processes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
