We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Contract Manager to oversee and manage construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, tendering, contract management, team management, and ensuring smooth execution on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project timelines and work programmes.
- Review, prepare, and submit reports on project documents to senior management.
- Initiate and manage tender processes, ensuring fairness and transparency.
- Prepare project specifications and other technical documents.
- Act as the on-site Project Manager, participating actively in site meetings.
- Prepare presentable reports on project progress, costs, and timelines.
- Monitor project cost management and provide recommendations to optimise costs.
- Coordinate and liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage, guide, and mentor project teams, ensuring high productivity and quality.
- Train team members on best practices, project processes, and technical standards.
- Identify and implement value additions to projects to optimise cost, time, and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Dubai in similar roles.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
- Experience in handling G+10 or higher projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract documents and tender preparation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to handle consultants and contractors efficiently.
- Experience in team management and training is essential.
