- Build and maintain scalable distributed systems, including backend services, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Work with both Ruby on Rails and modern Node.js / Nest.js microservices.
- Develop and maintain APIs for internal services (gRPC) and external clients (REST, GraphQL, JSON:API).
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deliver impactful solutions.
- Apply advanced software patterns and best practices to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and innovation across the platform.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a backend developer.
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js / Nest.js.
- Solid background in SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience building robust, scalable backend systems.
- Familiarity with gRPC and API integrations.
- English Speaking role.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to Golang.
- Experience with HRIS platforms or workforce management systems.
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal).
- Experience with microservices migration.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
