Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Gameplay Programmer, located in Québec, QC. The Gameplay Programmer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining gameplay systems and features. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers and artists to create and refine game mechanics, debugging and optimizing code, and ensuring a seamless player experience. The role requires a strong understanding of gameplay programming principles and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in C# and experience with game development in Unity
- In-depth knowledge of gameplay systems, user interfaces and mechanics
- Experience with debugging and optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Experience with multiplayer and/or networking programming is a plus
