About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital BA Team within a leading financial services environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing business and systems requirements, driving strategic initiatives, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead detailed requirements phases by identifying, analyzing, and resolving business and system issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs and document requirements in alignment with the project lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops and sessions with business users to gather input and perform gap analysis
- Create detailed process maps and documentation for requirements gathering, training, and project tracking
- Support successful project delivery by managing risks, mitigation plans, and implementation documentation
- Contribute to business user testing and training strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT partners
- Provide consulting services for new business initiatives and escalate issues as needed
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in a project-based Agile environment
- Proven ability to independently gather and document business and systems requirements
- Strong experience with requirements analysis, process modeling, story decomposition, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder facilitation
- Hands-on experience with system integration concepts and analyzing API payloads (JSON/XML)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including experience managing large stakeholder groups (15–20+)
- Ability to work on multiple medium-to-large scale projects concurrently (e.g., $2M+ in size)
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mural, Figma
Nice to Have:
- CBAP or a Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
- Experience working on enterprise-level or mobile projects
- Past experience testing APIs using tools like Postman
- Familiarity with current Accessibility standards
- Experience in financial services or information technology domains
