Enterprise Analytics Specialist (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 1 month, FT perm conversion possibility
Location: Toronto, ON, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Fully onsite role, 5d/w either in Toronto, Kitchener, or Windsor is required.
Roles and responsibilities:
The Enterprise Analytics Specialist supports the client by driving strategic, data-
informed business decisions. This role involves gathering and preparing data for analysis,
identifying key variables, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Analyze complex data by using their intermediate to advanced expertise in data
mining, Business Intelligence, data modelling
Apply knowledge of sales and product information and data across multiple lines of
business to identify operational insights and key factors that are driving business
performance
Leverage statistics to develop, customize and test solutions, solving a wide
variety of business challenges
Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while adapting to
changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously
As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for:
Overseeing analytics operations, correcting discrepancies, and ensuring data quality
Acting as a resource for internal stakeholders by applying leading techniques,
interpreting data, understanding implications for business function strategy,
tactics and ongoing operations
Collaborating with technology partners to strengthen alignment between business
data applications, implications and technical architecture
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting on program/project metrics
Identifying and recommending ways to simplify and automate processes to
increase reporting productivity
Staying up to date with the latest technology, industry trends and industry best
practices
Must have skills/experience/qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Mathematics, Business Administration with a
concentration in Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of related experience
A logical and curious thinker who can learn new technologies, computing
applications or data sources
An enthusiastic self-starter with a high degree of initiative and adaptability
A strong team player that thrives in a collaborative environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision, adhere to strict deadlines
Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage various projects simultaneously
Proficiency in using data mining, query, analysis, and reporting tools
Knowledge of SQL and programming languages such as Python
Experience with Data Warehousing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability
to support and prioritize multiple projects
