Software Engineer (.NET) - Commodities/Capital Markets/Trading

They are seeking a Software Engineer (.NET) to join their team in Singapore. What you'll do:

As a Software Engineer (.NET), your role will be pivotal in implementing and maintaining a series of vendor-based and in-house IT systems that support critical business activities such as trading, risk management, pricing, and logistics. You will work collaboratively with the rest of the technical team while demonstrating end-to-end ownership of entire problems where required. Your adaptability to rapidly acquire new technical skills will be crucial.

• Obtain excellent business knowledge of the full transaction cycle within a multi-commodity trading environment
• Create new features within Allegro Horizon, our Energy Trading and Risk Management system (ETRM)
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Allegro customizations
• Apply strong software engineering skills to enhance Allegro's integration with other systems
• Contribute to the development of custom applications associated with the ETRM
• Support initiatives to enhance end-to-end test automation and continuous integration across the application landscape

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Software Engineer (.NET) position will bring at least 3 years of experience with .NET development. You should have a strong understanding of the core language and framework along with service-oriented development. Your data access development skills will be put to good use as well as your extensive SQLServer database design and development skills.

• Ideally come from commodities (priority) / Capital Markets / Trading / Other Financial Services organisations.
• Experience with C# .NET
• Strong understanding of the core language and framework
• Service-oriented development (WCF, Web API or ASMX)
• Data access development (ADO.NET, EF or equivalent such as NHibernate)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks is advantageous
• Experience in the Capital Markets or Trading domain is crucial
