Data Scientist

About the Role

We’re seeking a Product Data Scientist with strong technical skills and a true ownership mindset. The ideal candidate won’t just execute assigned tasks but will proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and product performance. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, research) to translate complex data into actionable insights that shape product strategy and growth.

The team is based in Germany, so you’ll need at least 6 hours of overlap with it.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that inform product direction.
• Design and execute experiments (A/B testing, experimentation frameworks) to measure impact and support decision-making.
• Develop clear product recommendations from complex data analyses.
• Build and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor product health, growth, and performance.
• Help strengthen data infrastructure and experimentation workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong foundation in Data Science with hands-on experience in research, experimentation, and product improvements.
• Expertise in statistics, A/B testing, and experiment design, with a proven ability to drive actionable recommendations.
• Product-focused background — comfortable collaborating with PMs and translating insights for both technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake, Superset, Eppo, or Airflow.
• Background in SEO, acquisition, conversion optimization, or growth analytics.
• Experience in consumer tech or other high-growth product environments.
• Previous remote work experience.
