C++ Software Engineer

Locations: Coppell, TX | Boca Raton, FL | Boston, MA

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation: While there’s flexibility depending on background — such as technical experience and education — compensation generally falls between $140K and $180K OTE, with equity offered as part of the package.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a part of a high-performing R&D team, driving end-to-end feature development — from concept and design through production deployment.
  • Work deeply within complex, large-scale systems, including the Chromium codebase, to deliver solutions for real-world enterprise challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, web development, and security engineering, to ship high-impact features.
  • Engage with real-world customer problems, providing innovative and practical solutions.


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking highly skilled C/C++ engineers with a strong foundation in concurrency programming and modern development practices.


Key Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong C/C++ skills, especially in concurrent and multithreaded programming.
  • Proven experience developing large-scale, multi-platform desktop or mobile systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
  • Background in building distributed systems or backend services, ideally within cloud environments such as AWS or OCI.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.


Nice-to-Haves (Not Required):

  • Chromium or CEF experience – a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and system-level networking concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, WebAssembly, or extension development.
  • Backend API development experience using Golang and serverless frameworks.
