Job Description
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks within the Human Resources department. The representative will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, flow of correspondence, and requisition of supplies. The Human Resources Representative is the first point of contact for many team members and leaders within the organization and provides a high level of customer service, care, and confidentiality. Schedule appointments, process onboarding and licensing paperwork in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate team member. Answers general questions about human resources in order to provide quick solutions to general questions.
- Provide a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Process employment-related paperwork, including data input into the company’s HR systems.
- Review employment-related paperwork to ensure proper completion, obtain necessary supporting documents, and ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Company policies.
- Maintain an accurate and complete filing system.
- Create, print and distribute reports as prescribed and/or requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months of experience in a similar position preferred with experience in customer service and high volume of calls and team member interaction.
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to take direction and follow directions well.
- Must have excellent customer service, communication skills, work well within a team, and independently.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and in the operation of standard office equipment and software.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary license and/or certifications
