The Role

We’re hiring a Backend Developer with proven VPN infrastructure experience to help us architect and scale secure systems.

• Role starts remote.
• Mandatory relocation to Madrid within 2–3 months (company-supported).
• Competitive rate: depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Deploy, manage, and optimize VPN solutions (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec).
• Architect backend systems for secure connections, key management, and sessions.
• Integrate VPN with backend infra (auth, routing, monitoring).
• Build for scale/resilience across multi-region deployments.
• Collaborate with infra + product teams on compliance and security.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on production deployment of VPN protocols (WireGuard/OpenVPN/IPsec).
• Strong backend engineering (PHP, Go, Rust, Node.js, Java, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of networking, encryption, session management.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, multi-region infra.
• Fluent English.
• Must be able to complete enhanced background checks in line with client compliance requirements.

Nice to Have

• Crypto/fintech or regulated industry background.
• Open-source VPN/security contributions.
• Monitoring experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix).
