Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Identify and document current state business processes and their future state for insurance and related digital platforms.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve operational efficiency and achieve business outcomes.
- Requirements Management:
- Gather, document, manage, and validate functional and non-functional business requirements for new software, digital products, and process changes.
- Ensure clear traceability and completion of requirements within agreed timeframes.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define and validate requirements.
- Communicate opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations for business solutions.
- Project Delivery and Support:
- Support the delivery of defined project objectives and enterprise-scale projects.
- Contribute to business case development and assist in the development of RFPs.
- Digital and Platform Enhancement:
- Drive insurance platform integration, enhance customer digital experiences, and support changes to customer platforms and mobile apps.
Key Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated understanding of business analysis principles.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document processes and requirements.
- Analytical skills for root cause analysis and performance trending.
- Experience in gathering and analysing data to develop process controls.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles is often beneficial.
- Experience in the superannuation or insurance industry is highly desirable.
- Tools – JIRA, Confluence, understanding of Low code no code technology stack
