About the Role 

We're searching for a design-led Full Stack Engineer to be a key builder of our digital customer experience. This role is for a true product craftsperson who is passionate about both elegant back-end architecture and exceptional user experience. You are someone who obsesses over the details, understands the 'why' behind a design, and can translate beautiful UI/UX concepts into pixel-perfect, performant, and reliable applications. 

The ideal candidate is a developer who sees themselves as a creative partner. You thrive on leveraging AI-native tools (like Cursor or Copilot) to achieve breakthrough productivity and are excited to be a foundational member of a small high-performance team scaling quickly. You won't just be closing tickets; you'll be in the code, shipping features that delight our customers and are built to scale. 

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like 

• Build & Ship High-Impact Features: Develop, test, and deploy features across our e-commerce platform, translating design mockups and prototypes into high-quality, responsive code. 
• Champion User Experience: Collaborate closely with product and design to advocate for the user, providing technical feedback on UI/UX feasibility and suggesting improvements to create intuitive and seamless customer journeys. 
• Develop Innovative Back-End Systems: Architect and build scalable back-end services and APIs, leveraging the latest engineering techniques and AI-driven workflows to 10X productivity and bring new innovations to the True ecosystem. 
• Automate B2B Workflows: Connect and build upon our HubSpot integration to create seamless, automated workflows for our B2B customers. 
• Build Seamless Integrations: Design and implement robust, mission-critical API integrations, with a key focus on our NetSuite ERP to ensure a highly automated and efficient operational backbone. 
• Enhance the E-commerce Engine: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Shopify Plus ecosystem, extending its capabilities through custom apps and optimising for Core Web Vitals and security. 
• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Work within our multi-cloud environment (GCP and Azure) to deploy and maintain services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and reliable. 

What You'll Bring to the Team 

• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to build beautiful, intuitive, and polished user interfaces. 
• A deep appreciation for user-centric design principles, with a keen eye for UI details, typography, and motion. 
• Proven experience as a full-stack engineer, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development. 
• Strong command of modern technology stacks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js). 
• Experience building and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs. 
• Experience with ERP integrations; direct experience with NetSuite is a major plus. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or Azure for deploying and managing applications. 
• A deep curiosity and willingness to test, trial, and embrace cutting-edge, AI-native development tools and workflows (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, 'vibe coding'). 
• Knowledge of the Shopify Plus platform and its APIs is highly desirable.
