The role involves leading and coordinating Automation and DevOps activities across multiple teams, including Solution Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure CI/CD design and engineering processes adhere to existing engineering standards, include well defined process controls, and deliver an overall compliance reporting model.
• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Collaborate with other engineers to enhance and streamline environment management by implementing automation capabilities such as CI/CD.
• Automate software deployment, testing, and configuration management processes using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins etc.,
• Architect and maintain scalable, secure AWS environments using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of AWS infrastructure and applications.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Proven experience delivering major programs of work in complex, agile environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud engineering principles, underpinned by design and development experience.
• Extensive experience working within AWS cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with running multi-cloud environments and a strong understanding of multitenancy and security implications.
• Deep experience of cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation.
• Experience with Design Governance, including responsibility for the end-to-end software design process across a large program of work
• Relevant certifications in Cloud or DevOps are highly regarded.
