We’re looking for an AI Engineer to join our Brisbane team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that drive real business impact. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, apply your expertise across platforms like Azure or AWS, and help shape our AI strategy with innovative, transformative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex AI and machine learning models, to address business objectives, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Integrate and utilise cloud AI services from either Azure or AWS to build efficient, production-ready AI solutions.
• Integrate AI services into enterprise applications, workflows, and decision-support systems.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate with business & technology stakeholders, to identify and prioritise AI opportunities.
• Participate in discovery workshops, to gather requirements to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Assist with business case creation, feasibility assessments, and ROI analysis for AI initiatives.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks; evaluate new technologies for organisational adoption.
• Assist in the creation of best practices for AI/ML development, MLOps, and continuous integration/deployment.
• Monitor and maintain production AI systems, ensuring security, compliance, scalability, and performance optimisation.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field (required).
• Professional experience in AI/ML engineering in a production environment
• Expertise in generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines)
• Programming Languages: Python
• Working knowledge of Agentic AI would be advantageous
• A strong background in software development would be advantageous
