About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Engineer to design and implement a modular application framework that enables multiple teams to collaborate seamlessly, without conflicts or crashes between components. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and systems architecture, requiring a strong sense of user experience coupled with the technical ability to deliver scalable, robust, and modular solutions.The ideal candidate is not only a creative designer but also an engineer capable of translating complex requirements into intuitive interfaces and resilient application structures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a modular UX/UI framework that allows multiple teams to contribute features without breaking interoperability.
  • Establish design system guidelines (components, patterns, accessibility standards) to ensure consistency and scalability across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA) to gather requirements and translate them into design and engineering deliverables.
  • Build prototypes, mockups, and production-ready components that balance usability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Ensure collaboration-friendly architecture, minimizing merge conflicts, dependency issues, and UI regressions.
  • Conduct usability testing and user research to validate design decisions and continuously improve user experience.
  • Champion best practices in accessibility, responsive design, and internationalization.
  • Mentor junior designers and engineers, promoting a culture of craftsmanship and design thinking.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Engineer, Frontend Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and component-driven development.
  • Expertise in design systems (e.g., Material UI, custom component libraries) and modular architectures.
  • Solid understanding of collaboration workflows in large engineering organizations (Git, CI/CD, versioning strategies).
  • Strong background in user experience principles, visual design, and interaction design.
  • Experience preventing and resolving integration issues across multiple teams and modules.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) to ensure UI stability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a balance of creativity and engineering rigor.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to align design and technical decisions across diverse stakeholders.
  • These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with micro-frontend architectures.
  • Knowledge of design tokens, theming, and multi-brand support.
  • Background in fintech or other high-availability systems.
  • Contributions to open-source design systems or UI frameworks.
