Senior .NET Developer – Brussels

📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium (2–3 days onsite per week, rest remote)

📄 Contract Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our client’s Transport Execution Management domain. This role requires a strong technical professional who can take full ownership of designing, building, and delivering reliable, well-tested software solutions.

You will work closely with solution designers and business stakeholders, translating complex ideas into high-quality applications while gaining a deep understanding of the business context.

The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and technically sharp while also being a strong team player who values collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver .NET Core Web APIs and cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure code quality through clean coding practices, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
• Leverage Azure Cloud services and event-driven patterns.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; manage containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end solution delivery while contributing constructively to the team.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
• 3+ years with Azure Cloud and .NET Core Web API development.
• Strong expertise in unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Deep mastery of the .NET ecosystem (LINQ, async/await, security, data structures).
• Experience with Azure PaaS services and event-driven architectures.
• Strong SQL/database design and optimization skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git branching strategies, and DevOps best practices.
• Calm, respectful, and professional communication style, even under pressure.
