Who Will You Work With:

Our client is a key player in the automotive industry, focused on delivering state-of-the-art solutions for modern vehicles. You will join a highly skilled team working on the One Engine (OE) project, which is responsible for downloading and installing software updates for vehicles.

About the Role:

As a Java Developer, you will work on both backend and frontend development with a primary focus on Java (experience in .Net/C# is a bonus). You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performing solutions that enhance the vehicle software update experience. This role also involves working with databases, UX/UI development, and ensuring continuous delivery through CI/CD pipelines.

This is a 6-month B2B contract based in Gothenburg, with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend solutions with a focus on Java and optionally .Net/C#.
• Work with databases like MongoDB and Cosmos.
• Collaborate on UX/UI design and development.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Services, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Work within Agile teams to deliver solutions efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TCP/UDP network programming and vehicle protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, DoIP, and UDS.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop application development using WinUI or WPF.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure Cloud Services.
• Strong understanding of user needs and the ability to create seamless user journeys.
• Direct client management experience is a plus.
