The Technical Challenge

You'll be architecting a sophisticated web application that processes and surfaces startup intelligence data. We're talking about:

• Complex data pipelines ingesting startup information across multiple sectors and geographies
• Search and discovery algorithms that help Fortune 500 companies find their next strategic partners
• Real-time analytics showing proof-of-concept potential and startup metrics
• Scalable backend systems handling enterprise-grade data volumes

Your Stack & Impact

Primary Technologies:

• React + TypeScript (modern hooks, context patterns)
• Apollo GraphQL (schema design, resolvers, caching strategies)
• Node.js (API design, microservices architecture)
• PostgreSQL (complex queries, performance optimization)
• Vector databases (similarity search, ML-powered recommendations)

What you'll own:

• End-to-end feature development from database schema to React components
• Technical architecture decisions that impact product scalability
• Performance optimization across the full stack
• Testing strategies and CI/CD pipeline improvements
• Direct input on product roadmap and technical strategy

The Role

This isn't just another CRUD app. You'll be solving problems like:

• How do we surface relevant startups from millions of data points?
• What's the optimal way to structure complex relationship data?
• How do we make enterprise search feel consumer-grade fast?

You bring:

• 5+ years shipping production applications with measurable business impact
• Deep experience with our core stack (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL)
• Systems thinking - you understand how your code impacts the broader architecture
• Ownership mindset - you ship features, measure results, iterate based on data
