The Role: Projects & Operations Manager – Startup Growth (f/m/x)

You’ll work side-by-side with the founders: not just shadowing, but owning cross-functional projects and operations that make our business scale: from client launches to grant reporting, from investor updates to HR processes.

This role is for someone who thrives on variety and impact: one week you’ll be driving a client project live, the next preparing a funding application, the next coordinating a legal process or making sure our offsite runs smoothly.

It’s a high-trust, high-autonomy role at the heart of a tech start-up — perfect if you’ve already seen a startup grow and now want to help build one from the inside.

What You’ll Do

• Run cross-functional projects end-to-end (client projects, product launches, investor reporting, HR ops, etc.)
• Own grant funding operations: coordinate applications, track milestones, and manage reporting to EU/national bodies
• Support financial planning and reporting with founders and finance partners
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, and internal performance dashboards
• Keep our tools (HubSpot, Notion, docs) structured, up-to-date, and usable across the team
• Plan and execute team offsites, travel logistics, and key company events

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in startup/scaleup ops, business operations, or cross-functional project management
• You’ve seen how a company scales — and contributed to that growth
• Full professional proficiency in English is required; full professional proficiency in German is a strong plus.
• Passionate about structure and detail: you make complex things run smoothly
• Strong communicator: equally good with spreadsheets and with docs/presentations
• Comfortable switching contexts quickly and taking ownership across functions
• Hands-on attitude: happy to build the reporting model and book the flights
