TechHeads is excited to bring you a new opportunity for a Java focused Software Engineer. You’ll maintain and improve backend APIs & infrastructure, including payment gateways, delivery integrations, and SQL performance tuning using Java, Spring Boot and more. Giving you the chance to gain hands-on experience with critical backend systems. You’ll also take part in code reviews and architecture discussions, enhancing both your coding and design expertise.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of backend Java development experience
• Spring Boot development experience. Ideally you will have experience in migrating from Servlets to Spring Boot.
• Experience navigating third-party API specs to integrate new functionality with robust HTTP networking practices.
• Thorough understanding of SQL and writing efficient and optimized queries.
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and principles.
• Writing Unit & Integration tests.

Nice to Have:

• Enterprise, Solution or Application architecture design
• Cloud platform experience
• DevOps & GitHub Actions C.I Pipelines

Compensation:

• Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 DOE
