Senior Software Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop Android-based infotainment head units, troubleshoot software issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded software development, proficiency in C/C++, and familiarity with Linux and CI/CD workflows. Knowledge of automotive networks and functional safety processes is a plus.

Roles and Responsblities:

• Follow existing E&S standards in SW development process. Collecting and analyzing SW requirements, preparing SW design documentation, programming SW modules, preparing and performing tests to verify SW work products.
• Continuous development of professional qualifications. Co-operation with local and remote E&S teams.
• Accomplishing tasks in accordance to E&S and TCK quality standards and schedules.
• Care for good company image.
• Care for confidential information and company’s property.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• C++ programming skills
• Basic knowledge of programming for embedded systems
• Good knowledge of SW engineering tools and familiarity with general technical documentation
• Very good communication skills in English in written and spoken form

Nice to have skills

• 8+ years of experience writing software in multiple languages including C and Python
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development team
• Familiarity with structured software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
• Experience working within a multi-regional or multi-site development team
• Experience working with distributed software architectures
• Programming language or language requirements and framework!
• C++ is the main programming language, Python is supporting language
