We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Latvia Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll take care of ensuring the consistent quality, safety, and compliance of renewable energy projects, equipment, processes, and procedures. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:


  • Leading the development, implementation, and enforcement of QA/QC policies and procedures for O&M activities
  • Ensuring consistent application of quality standards across all asset operations and maintenance functions
  • Developing a comprehensive internal and external audit programme for assets in the O&M phase
  • Conducting and supporting internal and external audits and compliance assessments
  • Managing the defect and failure reporting system across operational sites
  • Enabling and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes for major failures
  • Promoting and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Collaborating with O&M teams to deliver quality training and raise awareness of QA/QC procedures.


Required for this position:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably within the renewable energy, construction, or manufacturing sectors
  • Solid knowledge of quality management principles and standards (e.g., ISO 9001), with familiarity in applying quality methodologies in practice
  • Experience in renewable energy project construction, including familiarity with inspection and testing techniques, material verification, and coordination with external auditors for quality assessments, is considered an advantage
  • Proven expertise in third-party auditing processes and conducting quality assessments
  • Strong command of QA/QC methodologies, including non-conformance management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • ISO 9001 Certified Internal Auditor qualification would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, as the role involves collaboration with stakeholders across the Baltics and Poland
  • Valid driving license.

Salary range for this position group: is 2196 to 3295 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
