About The Role
As Team Manager for the Calypso DevSecOps team, your primary responsibility is to coach and support the solution developers in becoming increasingly self-organized and empowered. You will foster a collaborative and communicative environment where continuous learning and team development are at the core.
In addition, you will be responsible for IT delivery, ensuring that high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions are delivered in alignment with business needs, security, and timelines. You will work closely with stakeholders to manage expectations, mitigate risks while ensuring adherence to DevSecOps principles, agile methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for financial planning and follow-up, ensuring that budgets are effectively managed and aligned with strategic goals. Furthermore, you will be responsible for third-party management, and ensuring adherence to risk, security, audit, and compliance requirements across all areas of delivery.
Working in an Agile setting, you will partner closely with Scrum Masters/Product Owner and the Calypso BA/QA team to ensure the team has the right conditions and support to thrive. You actively encourage experimentation, embrace new ways of working, and promote a growth mindset across the team.
As a Team Manager You Will Be Responsible For
- Daily operations for the team
- Lead, coach and inspire the team, being a role model for your team to deliver high-quality software solutions
- The team’s performance, delivery, and KPIs. Remove impediments and provide guidance, while empowering teams to make their own decisions.
- The IT solution, development, maintenance (LCM), BCM and ITSecurity
- 3rd party contracts
- Enable the team to work towards both individual and team goals
- Driving changes in ITIL processes such as Change, Incident, Communication and Release Management
- Supporting Agile Ways of Working within the SAFe framework
- Promoting a culture of learning, growth, and inclusion
- Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative software solutions
- Staying up to date with the latest cyber security practices and technologies in secure software development and delivery
- Responsible for external vendor management
To Thrive In This Role

- You have experiencein managing IT development in a complex, fast-changing, and demanding environment as well as modern software development and agile way of working

- You take an active part in our management team, driving our joint agenda forward
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Technical background and preferably experience in SDLC (Software Development lifecycle)
- Experience of working with financial products and regulatory reporting
- Experience in coaching/mentoring
- Experience from external vendor management
- Experience in fixed income or other financial products
