We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is critical in supporting both cloud-based and on-premises network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of services such as IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS, and Managed Services. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong vendor management skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and health of on-premises and cloud network environments.
• Oversee service delivery from cloud and managed service providers.
• Support network architecture, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Perform capacity planning, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure service delivery meets defined SLAs and security standards.
• Collaborate across teams and with vendors for efficient problem resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network administration and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SD-WAN, virtualization, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Cisco and Juniper routers/switches
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments (IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS).
• Experience with monitoring tools: SolarWinds, AppNeta, Riverbed.
• VoIP and video conferencing setup and support.
• Certifications such as PCCSA, PCNSA, Prisma Cloud, CCNA/CCDA are a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
