Information Security Regulatory Support Assessor

π§ Project Context
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Regulatory Support Assessor to join a strategic initiative led by a global financial institution.
The consultant will be supporting regulatory readiness and governance activities across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on NIS2 compliance, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
π§ Responsibilities
- Support activities related to NIS2 readiness and regulatory assurance.
- Assess internal policies, technical documentation, and control frameworks.
- Perform asset-level and entity-level security assessments.
- Assist with NIS2 registration and incident response documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams, governance stakeholders, and business units.
- Monitor regulatory posture, gaps, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Produce periodic reports on compliance and regulatory governance status.
π Required Skills
- 5+ years in Information Security, IT Governance, or Compliance roles.
- Strong experience with IT audits or regulatory security support.
- Solid understanding of NIS2 and other EU regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously in remote settings.
π Certifications (preferred)
- One or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, COBIT
- Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls frameworks.
- Familiarity with DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, or similar initiatives is a plus.
