This job offer is part of an IT sector Job Marketplace that will take place in person at the Employment Fair on October 16th from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, organized by Barcelona Activa in collaboration with the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation.

Afterwards, they will conduct job interviews only with the candidates who have been preselected.

AstraZeneca is now looking for 5 people to join the company in the near future as a DATA & AI INTERNS

Job Functions

• Support data and AI projects and operations within your assigned team.
• Collaborate on advanced analytics, machine learning applications, and bioinformatics activities.
• Assist in organizing training events and workshops related to data science, AI, and digital healthcare.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and provide insights and feedback on innovation strategies and new technologies.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Type of professional relationship: Internship agreement
• Contract duration: 6 months (extendable up to 12 months)
• Weekly working hours: 30 hours (extendable up to 40 hours)
• Working schedule: from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Gross compensation:
• €9,000 annually for a 30-hour agreement.
• €12,000 annually for a 40-hour agreement.
• Professional category: Trainee

• Required formal education: Bachelor's Degree (Bologna Process)
• Additional training:
• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field (such as Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering).
• Undergraduate degree in a related area.
• Strong interest in data science, IA
• Most developed personal competencies: Digital skills, Learning and applying knowledge, Initiative, Conceptual thinking, Communication, Analytical thinking.
• Languages: English – Advanced
